  • Are Shorts Acceptable In The Workplace?

        This is a dilemma that has stunned the minds of men and women. Some say it depends on the work environment. But is their a professional standard that one must uphold in order to still be presented as a "professional?" Are shorts only acceptable for "Dress Down Day" or for whenever the weather permits? Comment and write your opinion. How does your job feel about wearing shorts?

      I think its absolutly possible to dress up in shorts. They have to be a certain length off course. But it also depends on wherw you work. If you work retail, like I do at Armani Exchange or any other place it should okay to wear shorts, or if you work in a fashion showroom, or fashion industry in general as long as you wear a great outfit it shouldnt matter if shorts are a part of it. Just dont do shorts, tshirt and flip flops unless you are going to the beach. But if you are a wall street guy shorts might not be the best idea, in which case you stick with a suit.
